We learn a lot of intricate pathways and processes in our education. How much of it do we use in our daily lives? In our classes we learned about water, bio molecules, and micro nutrients, we know how important they are and yet we ignore to eat well.

Here you will find simple, and easy to make recipes that can help you to have a balanced diet.

Over night Oat meal for breakfast:

Oat meal is a healthy breakfast releasing the carbohydrates slow and consistently to keep you full and have great morning.

You need to soak oat meal + yogurt + chiaseeds + nuts + fruits in milk overnight in the refrigerator. If you like your breakfast warm you can microwave this or eat it cold, either way it tastes delicious.

Oat meal = Rolled oats
Yogurt = For protein and creaminess, plant based or animal based.
Chiaseeds = for micro nutrients
Nuts = for proteins, fats (almonds, walnuts, pistachios, cashews)
Fruits = for fiber, carbohydrates (blueberry, strawberry, banana, mango, grapes)
Milk = Plant or Animal (almond or soy or skim or whole)

You have more variants of this in the video below:

Healthy Snacks:

We need to keep up our blood glucose levels to keep our brain concentrated on school work, to do this we should eat some healthy snacks here and there before our big meals (lunch and dinner).

Best healthy snacks or drinks are usually natural:

Fruits: Apple, Orange, Grapes, Berries,

Nuts: Almonds, Cashews, Pecans, Pistachios, Walnuts,

Vegetables: Carrots, Cucumbers

Yogurt

Smoothies (We may regulate the sugar levels in home made smoothies versus store brought)

  1. These are so hip... For on the go sometimes I put similar food in tupperware and that works too

  2. Sometimes for more veggie intake I use tupperware, and place from first to last: tofu, a splash of balsamic vinegar, soy beans, another vinegar splash, and quinoa, followed by a bit of olive oil. All ingredients can be found at the salad bar of Jasper Kane during lunch and dinner hours if you're interested in trying, pile it up in one of the plastic containers and shake it up. Shaking it up may ruin the hip aesthetic but it is really good!
